The MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), is an
annual awards show that aims to honor the best in music videos. Celebrities
from around the world gather for one night to celebrate their musical
achievements throughout the year.
This year, performances included Beyonce
performing a medley of her latest visual album and Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj
and Jessie J performing their latest collaborative hit, ‘Bang Bang’.
The red carpet is one of the highlights of
the evening; it is especially interesting to see how celebrities have
coordinated their makeup with their outfits.
Ariana Grande wore a Moschino Resort 2015
ensemble and her signature Tom Ford thigh-high boots. She paired this with a
matte red lip and warm-toned brown eyeshadow. Her makeup artist, Daniel
Chinchilla used NARS Larger than Life lengthening mascara. A similar lip colour
could be Rimmel Lasting Finish Matte lipstick in Kiss of Life (#111) from the
Kate Moss range.
