Maps to the Stars is a 2014
satirical drama film which is about the plight of two former child stars. “my
movie shows the dark side of the Hollywood”, said by the director, disclosures
the main tone of the film. It is a movie that shows the stars family life and
their helpless.
It is directed by David
Cronenberg and starring Julianne Moore, Mia Wasikowska, John Cusack, Robert
Pattinson, Olivia Williams, Sarah Gadon and Evan Bird. This is the second consecutive collaboration for
Cronenberg with Robert Pattinson and the third collaboration with Sarah Gadon.
The film premiered in
competition for the Palme D'Or at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival on May 19,
2014. It will be released in Australia on November 20,2014.
